I see what you mean. I was trying to mirror the lines of the blade. I'll make an adjustment. Thanks for the feedback.

For lead I’ve used shotgun slugs but I don’t see why antimony wouldn’t work, just may take a little longer to shape. I use a tack hammer with a flattened face and hammer on the anvil of my vise, really easy to dial in the wedge, at least with pure lead. I cut mine to rough shape with a sharp chisel then after pinning used a file for finishing the shaping then some careful sanding then a light touch with a buffer.
The bullet lead is only 3 to 5% antimony. So it's still fairly soft. Great tip with the hammer/anvil, I wouldn't have thought of that. I would have just filed and gotten annoyed every time I need to clean the file.

I actually just cut a chunk off with end biters that looked large enough to make the wedge plus a little for shaping, my guess is I got 4 wedges out of one 1oz slug.

So many creative and almost free solutions. I love seeing all the different ways of looking at a problem. Everyone has a different way of getting things solved based on their past experience. It really gets me thinking of different lines to a solution and is really fun for me to find what works best with my skill set and equipment.

The Lancet is one of those Holy Grail type razors that I wanted to complete my collection.

However, that 75 Cent is turning out great so far. It has some pretty lines on it and a helluva smile. I can see this one among my absolute favorites.

Now I'm just trying to figure how much Wild Turkey I'm going to need to send in trade.

Put together the first of Sonny's Mappin this afternoon, after a quick question of if he wanted the scales polished, or left the satin, grainy, natural look.

So I fashioned a set of silver nickle pins, for replicating the original collarless pinning, cleaned up original wedge and thrust washers, and.....here ya go.

Those definitely have a cool grind. That's a lot of metal, but then it tapers down to a hollow.

Can't wait to see how it shaves.
