Hard to tell, being I'm on the northern beaches, and he's on the southern beaches.
I might be behind enemy lines being my locality, but I'm still pure blooded hilljack. If we wasn't enjoying the molasses, we'd be hitting the honey jar.
Best done with a warm piece of cornbread, smothered with butter. White bread was for special occasions.
What ever they are, their cool as $#1+ !
Looks like my next project is dropping the fuel tank on my ford, for a new pump. Figures, just topped it off the other day, and about to go on a mini vacation after work, tomorrow. NOT.!! At least I made it in the driveway, had to coast the last 50 yards.Mike

Thats the way it always goes aint it. Full tank then the pump quits. Good luck not making a mess. I did an older nissan stanza years ago. While dropping the tank i seen an area on the body above the tank that looked lime a cover plate. Stopped and pulled the back seat. Sure enough. They had made an axxess plate for the pump.

Come on Mike! You can do it...
Some rope, makeshift pulleys, "i"bolts in something overhead (garage?), or a tree branch?, then slap a few pieces of duct tape on it and your good!!!
Wham, bamm, thank you ma'am!
Edit: did it on an engine swap years back.. But I think you can do it better... It was an epic fail, due to the technical specs of that tree branch not meeting the guidelines clearly outlined in the Hillbillies Guide to Everything for Dummies (3rd edition, leatherbound)Last edited by MikeT; 07-06-2019 at 02:49 PM.
