Is it just me or these stressful times have given me an urge to restore a few razors and keep my honing skills fresh. 2 down and one more on the way.

I’m in the same frame of mind. I don’t restore but I’m getting lots of honing practice

Most of what I do is just polishing and cleaning. It's always nice when I can do some honing or more involved razor work.

Hot damn, it's not often that my eyes are stopped by a vintage hollow, but this Puma is reaaaaaaaaaaaaally gorgeous

Beautiful is important, but when all is said and done, you will always be faithful to a good shaver while a bad one may detter you from ever trying again. Judge with your skin, not your eyes.

Beautiful razors. I'm hoping to get a nice Puma and Fili someday. About when was that Puma made? The nailhead pins were used for the newer productions, correct?

They all feel good in the hand.
The Simms has a bone bottom that took a nice shine.
The two clear acrylics had nylon knots originally and I'll be putting cream white synthetics in them.

Hello Joshua, I am not familiar with dating a puma based on its pins. But I would say that this one is probably from the late 50’s early 60’s.

There are very limited supplies in my area, so I order almost everything online. I bet you can have it delivered faster than waiting.
