Beautiful set and excellent case to keep them in. As far as Chinese goes, I have a Gold Dollar in my rotation that shaves as well as any of my others razors.
You're right about being the thought the counts, when my son got his first ever job, he spent over 400 pounds on a set of Henkels chefs knives that first Christmas, I was so touched. I still have them in their roll 25 years later, well used now though.- - Steve

Tru Oil, Ok obviously that's something else I'm gonna need.
Is this the stuff?
It says not to swallow it, I'll have to try and remember that

Birchwood Casey Rust Inhibiting Grease (RIG Universal) is good stuff too, I’m surprised that you don’t see it mentioned on razor forums.

Just wanted to follow up with you guys on the Zeva 7 day straight razor set. I honed the Sunday razor and shaved with it this evening. I am pleasantly surprised! It's not as smooth as my high end antique ones, but it did deliver a comfortable shave. A two pass shave and it was very close as well.
Now I will have to hone the entire set next week and put them in rotation every once in a while. Just FYISemper Fi !
