Switching it up this week. I have a few razors in the 'fix me' box but i recently discovered my set of Henckles kitchen knives recieved heavy damage from the vacated roommate. 4" was so bad i had to start on the black on my dmt's. Been a while since i sharpened a knife.. usually at the end of summer camping season i touch em up.. but ill be working on these for a few evenings i think.

Not much razoring of late, except enjoying some good shaves!
Playing with the 'Fiddy' the last few weeks. I restored this thing for a friend about 10 years ago and he has a new toy now (Barracuda). Some of the work done to the
'Cuda was swapped out for this little fella. Got it for a relative song. Tons of NOS parts, powdercoat, etc.
He even managed to title it and bought plates.
It mostly sat in his kitchen!
Since it can be used around the neighborhood streets, I wanted to speed things up a bit.
5 more teeth on the countersprocket and 6 less on the rear sprocket, speed was attained. Albeit slowly!
The motor was weak and the 'more power' thing came into play! Went as far as I could retaining stock carb and head as I wanted to retain the stock look.
Avoiding the Chinese stuff, a seller in AU sells kits with a Japan Performance cast cylinder, Honda piston, Japanese gaskets. Bumped it to 85cc.
Stock clutch slipped after a few hoons, so a HD unit was installed. Joker would put a fat guy on the ground if the throttle is twisted too much from a standstill!
Then, some LED headlamp bulbs in the fore and aft made it show up at night and you can actually see the road.
Sick. Just sick!"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

Finished up the Wade a Butcher tonight.
Was up in New York today delivering a boat. Checked out a few antique stores, but there all closed on Tuesday's.
" DAMMIT" !!!! Figures... Got a $100 tip from the customer, and nothing open.Mike
