Thanked: 4206If they can fit on a scale, I think I can do it TC.
Would be a cool razor. Have to be from an American maker, of course. Or ideally blade forged from some old Harley rear spring steel maybe.. Got my minds wheels turning now..
I have a Corrado Blade that might need some VW bling action to go with my summer ride as well.. Just need to find a small logo. Very neat idea borrowed,,

Ok Tom, I,m an old guy but what's a "reft"? An yes they make beer there, as far as I can tell they makes lots of beer there cause every times I get up there for the big Harley Davidson parties, we don't run out . And I've tryed to drain their tanks a couple of times,
Maybe beer a razors don't well together, might have to fall back on great American steel from the Little Valley New York area. Tc“ I,m getting the impression that everyone thinks I have TIME to fix their bikes”

Yeah, to fill a set of Harley Davidson scales you will need a big one. Best look to Connecticut, I think!
So a 'reft' is a measure of a pile. Big pile.
How big is relative of how big the items are.
A reft of firewood would probably fill 4 pickups as that was how much could fit on the raft. Hence, a reft.
A reft of razors would be a smaller pile as the razors are smaller items. You would never have seen a whole raft of razors, but a sizable shipment of them could be on a raft with other things.
In this case a reft of razors would fill Hirlau's trunk, were it not filled with barber's hones.
Bad analogy
You get it?Last edited by sharptonn; 05-08-2016 at 02:07 AM.

Thanked: 4206Mike, wow man. Love the patterning on those scales.. Beautiful effect. And a nice blade to boot.
TC, sounds like a great razor idea's been hatched. Now to find the components to bring it together...
And, may be just me, but I'm thinking pressed, or hard rubber scales would be the ticket. Hard leather like on the Pitchford Tom lent me would be cool too, and I think either would burn under laser to set the emblems still."Depression is just anger,, without the enthusiasm."
