Thread: What are you working on?

That dust is blacker than a moonless night in the Mojave Dessert (I know, I've been there).
I'm able to keep it out of the rotation for as long as I need now. Seems I've been picking up
boar bristle brushes up left and right lately, plus my VDH badger is good to go again.


I think I'll reknot the Strong Set soon.

Well, if I ever get in the mood....I am SET!

Got home to day and the house was cold. Turns out my furnace broke and its -20 outside. Wife has taken the kids to her folks place while I stay here.
On the bright side the "proper" bay leaves I ordered arrived today so I started my first foray into aftershave brewing.

Yikes! I hope you have a generator or wood stove or something to keep you warm. -20 is colder than a witch's teet! Nice jar of aftershave btw.

As I chuckle at you guys concocting the (shudder!) Bay Rum, it seems to be fun, yet I have been on the same 3 or 5 small 4oz bottles of AS for YEARS!
What's the shelf-life? All natural is good, but will it go bad before you use it? That's a LOT of Bay Rum there!

Its alcohol why would it go bad?

After reading all these recipes, my minimalist approach to aftershave or pre shave or post aftershave etc, splash, splash witch hazel and to all a goodnight!
