Cool, I'll go have a look.
Nice to see your posts again Steve. Sorry bout the accident..
Trucks are safer, if not nearly as much fun as a bike..
Bit of steel between you and everyone else..
And as you said, some very nice works going on.
That Spanish point looks more the thing John, anticipating the finished work.
Andrew, the patterning on that old ball is beautiful so far. Can't tell if it's. Bowl or brush yet.. ;) standing by.
The outdoor propane powered fireplace is a cool idea for easy instant ambiance in the back 40. Might need to pick your brain for some inspiration. I'd like a low rise version of something like that for up by the willow I think one day..
Great summer projects afoot gents.

Just got back with my life long friend and fishing partner, from a morning on the local lake where the skier's and pleasure boaters take over the lake by 10:00 AM

Though we only got four hours before the first boat blasted past the bow of my boat, we had an excellent morning of numerous fish, like this one my buddy took of me. He sucks at taking pics, and I razzed him about cutting the tail off all morning, and he reminded me of who caught more today......I stored today in the ol memory bank, for later use.

Now with coffee in hand, I'm ready for finishing this, https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...41ac3d52fc.jpgand taking off the scruff that's been growing on my face since Friday morning
I don't envy you taking the post fishing scruff off your face. My post fishing scruff was a bearcat to get off my sunburned face this morning.:)
Nice catch Mike.
Thanks, Steve. I could have taken more pic's, but the action was fast and short lived...when we would find their location in relationship to what we were fishing.
There's always a spot, within a spot, that holds the biggest concentration of actively feeding fish. Once found. Its one fish after another, as fast as you can hook n land um. I've become quite proficient at this over my lifetime of bass fishing, and fishing in general.
Ya gotta think like a fish..... and Smellin up the place with an aftershave called bucket O worms don't hurt neither. [emoji23]
Yeah! Looks like a toaster! :)

Nice fish there Mike, that'd a way to start the day.
Yeah Mike, a buddy & I used to go below the dam at Lake Livingston here but there always only had to be one or two gates open & we were pulling in white bass one after another & others weren't getting anything. People kept trying to get close to see what kind of bait we were using & he was saying not to let them get too close & see what we were using. We were using rooster tails.
Tom, thanks for the tune. I've been trying to think of his name for a couple days now because I love his music. I had a brain fart.
One more, stabilized beech
