The older I get, the more I revisit words like refined and get new meanings and examples of it.
My latest works,, more 'refined' than my first goes out. By far.

And when I was a kid, refined simply meant a fancy pants dude, cause I was too young to really weigh the word, and had not the perspective to truly understand it.
Much like project and hobby work..Refinement only acquired through time and perspective.

Jameson inspired ramblings above. Cheers men..

As we age, we are better able to discriminate between the average and the refined. It is a shame that the only word we had for a carefully reasoned opinion... "discrimination"... has become polluted by politics.

Cleaning up this John Creswick razor, on the 800 grit cleaning up some pits and stains, then 1k, 2k, 3k and maybe, maybe, low speed with the dremel using some polish...remembering what Outback says, spin away from the edge...probably will just keep using hand though, relaxing to sit and sand and read the forum.

Straight up and down with the sandpaper, no circles or polishing till the end IIRC....

Nice looking blade Phrank! At first glance the notch on this razor looks like a newly named type by a new/old company resurrecting a classic brand. Nice work!

    Nice looking creswick Phrank.
Going to be a beauty when done.
Delicious looking loaf, I could use a wedge of that this morning to soak up the Irish mirth still in my belly..
Cup of coffee and some thuringian rocks in stores for me today. Couple on the bench needing edge touch ups.
Have a good Saturday men. Get something accomplished, hang over be damned!
