    New scales or donor scales from another. Liners are cool too if you feel very attached to it. Otherwise replace. Its a good reason to make some wood scales.

    I did repair a set of cell scales with it. But as mentioned above, I installed some extra strength.

    Gouged out the inside of the scales, laid a piece of toothpick ( split in half ) in the grove, filled with epoxy, sanded smooth once set.

    Sigh...this was supposed to be an easy one . My replacement nickel rod came in (apparently a couple of days ago, but my wife dropped the envelopes in the car and I just found them today), so I'll mull over my options while I'm finishing off my re-do razor.

    I don’t know if you have noticed or not but my full hasn’t been producing a lot. I do have some double boxes on the bench.
