Thanked: 4207Currently, low and slow on the bbq at about 225 with indirect heat and some wood chips in the smoker box. Then after three hours into foil with the sauce for another 2 hrs.
I’m eyeing a 30” electric vertical smoker which has 4 racks of smoking pleasure potential. Will do enough ribs for a large group, as well as brisket, or pork shoulders etc..
Tc turned me on to the idea. Now I’m just doing the research.

Another rust ball is back in service! Both in the JIG photo now serve me.
A lot of hand sanding and polishing!

Been a busy day for me so here is what I've been working on...
Repaired and tuned-up 3 CB Radios. No pics as if you've seen one, you've seen them all.
Got this Simmons Razor in the mail and got the bevel set but that's as far as I got on the hones.
Took a Griffin Razor that had broken scales, and a set of used horn scales from a broken blade and made two into one...
And here are the two sets of scales I'm working on getting a finish on. Tru-oil. The darker set I used some old tru-oil and found it was bad. I'm been waiting 2.5 days for it to dry. Its close to dry but will take a few more days before I can sand and fix the finish. Then apply a few coats from a new bottle.
And these lighter colored scales are coming along very nicely. New tru-oil makes a lot of difference!
One more. I got this SSA honed up and ready for a test shave...I had found a couple chips in the edge that was giving a little discomfort.

Some fine works all around, fellas. Very impressed with the quality and the variety of everyone's projects. Man, I've had to catch up up few days on this thread, things moving along at a clip here. Nothing on the workbench for me at the moment, hoping to get back to it one of these days. Love seeing so many different types of projects, scales, blades, brushes... heck even watches and closets! Keep up the good work gents and have a good week.

As always gents, some very fine things going on in here.
So Mike, you use the Trig method for your ribs. A tried and true way to get good ribs for sure.
Enjoy Brother!!!!Look sharp and smell nice for the ladies.~~~Benz

Too shiny aluminum is not good.
