The oil yellows them a bit. Brings a 'patina' to the bone.

So the seal razor is pinned! I oversized the hole in the wedge a bit so I could shove it out while pinning. Made the sucker line-up nicely.
A bit of polish and it is ready for honing.
Need to get my green lizard done so it will have a honing partner.
I hate honing one at a time. I hate honing 3 at a time! 2 is just right!

I am drooling in anticipation of having that razor in my hands and shaving with it. Almost done with the strop socks for Rez that I am doing in exchange for the scales of delight. What a Shave of the Day I will have since I found a great lather bowl at Goodwill the other day. I wish Tom and Rex a mitzvah for their work and will now count them among my mishpocheh.

It is a comfy razor, Richard. Should be haymish to your scruffy face.
    Mine first, though!

Wanted to share a few pics of Jerry's blade.

I'm thinking, late 1800- early 1900s, being its double jumped.

I would put it a bit older, Mike. Let's dig into the name...
    Cannot find anything!

I would say you have done a proper job as well!
