Wrapped up this Box Elder/Wenge brush and stand yesterday. In the nick of time too, as the lady is coming to pick it up for her husband tomorrow. I messed up a bit when I made the half circle for the forks to hold the brush. Made them slightly too wide, which made the hairs touch the base of the stand ever so slightly. Can't have that so I added some small piece's of the contrasting burl to the inside which raises the brush up a bit. Worked perfectly and I think the look is nice too.
Burls, Girls, and all things that Swirl....

Smart thinking on the brush stand. Adding a little visual detail that doubles up as a repair is as good as it gets.

Thanks guys. Made this stand, and yet I still use my wire brush hanger I made from an old coat hanger.
