The wife just loved me for doing it in the kitchen. NOT!

I just got dont reshaping the edge as it wasnt a smooth arc but now it is. Now she wants to go out to lunch. I tell you, i love her but shes a pian sometimes. Ha.
    I would presume white vinegar??

    Now--
If you really want to have some fun in the kitchen, go down to the local slaughter house and pick up a couple of cattle horns and boil them to get the center out!!

Did that as a kid and I thought my mom was going to kill me! I guess the place stunk for days.

Yep. Plain white vinegar. Bring to a boil. Soak razor for 10 mintues. Take out and clean some of the black off with scouring pad. Soak another 10 minutes. Pul out and let dry. Then metal polish to the point of patina you like. It was very simple to do and found a youtube vid on it. Not too shabby i think.

Did this one this morning after the honey do's.
A friend dad's razor that had passed years ago. My friend said he has been dragging it around for over 20 years in a box and was happy to give it to me. I'll be sure to over it back to him now that I've restored it and honed it up. You never know.
