Will do Shaun, thanks. I would prefer them to be not so white. I did get the stains out from the old plastic wedge. Why would someone want to use plastic wedges on ivory anyway? Too lazy to make a new wedge out of something much better?

It's been too long, but I just finished this Frederick Reynolds. Also posted in the restoration forum with extra pictures. Pleased with the blade restoration--the scales were close but some imprecision cost me on the final fit at the tang resulting in some off-centering that I could not fully correct without entirely scrapping the scales. Live and learn though! Love seeing all the projects going on here and am proud to be an occasional participant.

Well, I got the two animals through the green Naniwa 1k with the brown turd helping.
The bevel on the Seal Razor went surprisingly well. A pesky heel-hook finally got rounded and sharp.
The Lizard was easy with exception of a tiny chip in the edge. Finally got it there.
Lots through the Green 1k, thinned as it got there. Popping hairs!
Then, after stropping on fabric, I went to my trusty old blue Naniwa 1k for 100 light, flooded ones.
Hairs are dying in a crush trying to get away!
Bevels are set, time to hone!
    Finish them out to-morrow!
