Good looking bevels Tom. Love it when they turn out thin and even.

I think they will suffice. I don't use much magnification. I do a TNT early-on to check for chips and irregularities.
A good look with a 5x loupe through my readers and lord dork visor as I go under a light reflecting off the bevel.
As I spend a long time on 1k, I always put on a new layer of tape before going on.

Amen to the light reflection at bevel setting!

Really nice work on the Frederick Reynolds. That thing came out sweet, looking just right, looking like it's going to be a great shaver. Get that one in the rotation asap!

Its been a hell of a weekend for me.

I've been busy with Jerry's scales n razor, every night this week. My main worry to the job, was coming up with the appropriate collars for it, he wanted something of that time period, and I couldn't agree more. So Tom tells me..I got this...package on its way...! ETA. Friday.. PERFECT.!!!

It was just the time I needed, being I'm a big proponent of..plan my work, work my plan, kinda guy. Then there's Hoyles rule Murphy's Law and Confucius, to deal with.

Each one of them guy's hit me with a blow, thought I was going down for the count. Let me explain....

I check routing # @ lunch time, while at work Friday.. Package has arrived, in mailbox...call wife,to see if she grabbed it on her way in from work... No, I haven't been home yet, working over.. So I arrive home, some hours later, and check the box....NO PACKAGE..!!!! AHHHHH..!
    #$@%&$##&@#$%$#@#$$&%@$%%##@$%%%$##$$
    @#$&$##@$%%&$#@$%&%##$%&#$$ u get the idea.

So I wait till Saturday for the mailman to come thru, didn't make it out of the house fast enough to catch him.
Loaded with my info, and off to the post office.

Talked with a manager, she verifies the information. This is the cool part...When they drop a package somewhere, they scan it in the truck and designate where..mail box, front porch, ect. That information is also tied in with GPS.
Within 5 minutes of me walking in the post office, she told me where the package was...exactly.!!
One street over from my house. I could look out my back window, and see his front door, honest. We both have the same address, just different street names. Well...later that day, the post office called to let me know the package was now there. Cool..!! Now I can finish putting Jerry back together, and maybe get it honed for a Sunday shave.

So here it is, alive once more.

    Scales, after oil and polished.

That is why we have the best PO in the world! I find they are overworked and yet make very few mistakes! Those, in my experience they do their best unscrew!

More brush handles!! Just working on the finish of 2 right now.

Olivewwood/Cocobolo is getting oil, and the veneer handle is getting a high gloss finish.
