The first time I tried something like this, I did not use a hard backer for my sandpaper and wound up removing some of the gold in the lettering. Whe they are finished I am pretty sure they will really pop. A nice touch on your project.

I figured something hard would be best for excess glad you chimed in Rez. Ill share here in a bit once it dries. Found a paint pen that is close to original color. Really helped getting it mostly where I wanted and no where else. Originally Posted by RezDog
