I can verify that!!! While I didn't save it, Benz sent me a photo of him and a friend taken during the friend's last 'Gentleman's' Bird Hunt' and that rig was in the picture!

    Yer kidding me! Really?
No wonder you get the girls!

Almost 169000 built. Benz has the only one. Imagine riding in an overgeared monster with a screaming hot-water six.
    Now THAT is 30 MPH!
    Very cool!

Roy saw the picture of me with it. Yeah, the girls did like the thing because I was the kid with the biggest 4x4. When Dad chained up all four wheels, that thing could really go through heavy snow.

Looks like the bulk of them went to Russia.

    Yup, the RAV4.
The 4 or all wheel system didn’t just disengage at 30, you had to repress the button at every stop to tell it to go back into 4 wheel driv3 mode..ridiculous set up..
If it weren’t free, I’d never have driven it off the lot..

Now to play with some coloring agents and epoxy, for the repairs. The fun is about to begin.

I can only give thanks to all the pioneer's before me. They blazed the trail, I just followed their path. And my trusty heat lamp, of course.
