I'd say I did good, for the first time, removing that much material.

I would have to call it a brisket grind... Low and slow.
Figured to do it with the finest grit, so not to remove too much metal too fast and cause a divot or arbitrarily cause a worse frown.

Just a few passes again with 600grt to straighten and clean up the sanding marks from the greaseless and I can move on to 1000grt

Yep, just woke up with back pain, every night. Take ibuprofen and wait for it to kick in to sleep. Broke my neck and back a number of years ago, luckily didn't sever my spinal cord but it kept me from snowboarding for a season. Now I've just got pain. But I can snowboard! So I've got that still.
What the heck were you doing up so really?

I dislocated my shoulder a few years ago (no more dirt bikes ). Doc told me if I was younger, he would be doing surgery.
Always was waking me up with pain across the shoulders/back.

Finally figured out last week that two pillows stacked under my head did the trick. 90% better. Thank goodness!

Stabilizer looking good, outback! Those little greaseless wheels are great for that chore, IMO.

MikeT, I have to deal with it everyday & ibuprofen doesn't work for mine. With winter approaching, my back will again be letting me know when it is going to get bad. A dry cold isn't so bad, it's the wet cold that does it. It wasn't so bad until I went down last December thanks to a drunk driver. I already have metal in my back but this last time just aggravated it it much worse plus a new herniated disc in my neck. Gotta go to court Tuesday morning as a witness against him.
Ahhhh, the older we get, our bodies can't take all that like when we were younger!

Yeah Tom, I feel your pain! On rare occasion my shoulder pops out of socket when doing something but it goes back in place. It hurts bad when it does it. That was due to a dirt bike back in '89 when it took out my left collarbone. I had my first Harley then but still liked to ride dirt bikes................it was a lot of fun while it lasted!

    Great work outback as always!

Mike, take it easy for awhile once your up again. You have been putting in a lot of effort into the blades, anvils & your family & most of all they need you so take care of your health brother! I'm so sorry to hear that but I'm glad it isn't any worse than it was. Is it a part of your family history or something genetic? No need to answer this right away, get your rest! Keep us in informed of things when you can. You'll be okay my friend. You will be in my prayers!
