Still would pick them up! Ergonomic designs, in a way! The second set relies on the pivot being super-tight. With the pin so close to the end, not enough scale is there with which to grip it and the tang after the pin to keep it positioned, I think. JMO

Did I mention there are some razors I will not pick up? Well, maybe long enough to bust the scales off them!

The first set would go great with that whale razor stand in Custom Builds! Looks like a whale! Love those!
These are usable. Weird. Yet usable. JMHO

Outback is that last set as chunky as it looks in the picture. They look too thick to flex. A design that you apparently corrected later on.

    Just got back.
Outback, those are nice! The scales in the first pic, 2nd razor are similar to the ones for my Wosty.

Thanks Outback, the use of timber is excellent. I like the way you have finished them.

Yeah their pretty thick, haven't done anything to them yet.

The only problem I'm having with the blackwood is getting a finish to dry on it. Everything I've tried just gets tacky, and I've decided to just polish them like the first set.
Gives off a nice satin finish, but not show the true beauty of the wood that a good finish will do.
