Think Mike was in the middle of a move, but not sure. Got a PM from him a week back so hopefully all is well.
And I too find your critique's valuable Tom. The last project I have done is my best to date, but that's only to date. Just like the first one of anything I do tends to be the worst one I do, but it's a start. Don't tell my first born that analogy though please..

Bill, in a way, I'm glad it did happen. At least I didn't have that much time in them & that particular piece had a slight warp to it & I had to make the pieces flat again on a DMT which is why it was very hard to see where they were joined together with the carpet tape. I think it was a blessing in disguise so the new set will be much better.

Tom, as for MikeT, if I remember right, I think he was moving. That may be why his inbox is full. I might be wrong though.

EDIT: I just noticed B52's post after I just posted this so I added this edit.

I like the way you motor on Steve....while Tom is stepping in and out of dog poo, you just steam ahead with your task at hand. Kudos!

This time I will do the same but will mark them so I can see how far i'm going with them. I had apparently taken too much from one side with my belt sander & I haven't worked with wood enough to make a decent set of scales yet, at least wood. I have always worked with horn or bone. At least now I know that the wood is softer on my belt sander.
Hope it works to this time. I wanted them just a tad wider anyway!

Hey! What have I got to lose? Show me anything. Hell, SOMETHING'S wrong with most of my razors! God knows I don't make scales, either
I am also my own worst critic. Somebody has to do it!

Tom, you have some beautiful razors, I do know that much! I envy you for that.

Thank you Harold, I greatly appreciate the compliment.

You know I love you Tom....I was just sitting here, angelically listening to Christmas carols and rubbing my BBS face, having shaved earlier with a razor you fixed for me, and I read your comment, then apology, and thought hat I needed to tweak you some. Steve, in his dedication to the thread gave me the opening....I had to make a wise crack.
