Thanked: 4827That would be a great plan. Last time I ordered from them they sent my order UPS and those guys are insane at what they charge. Global Shipping program is cheap in comparison. They charged me 100% of my order value in brokerage fees, but did pay the 5% GST on my behalf. Plus high shipping costs. I was not happy. I would say your Texas address is best used when dealing with that company. They have reasonably priced products but use a terrible shipping company. Never ever ever ship anything to Canada with UPS.

Thanked: 4206FedEx is no better to Canada really. If you set up an online acct in advance the brokerage fees are only 50% value, but if not, same deal. Massive screwing. And that Global shipping scam on ebay!, argh don't get me started on that cash grab, It's to close to Christmas to rant..

Yep, it is suffering from the In and Outs. Tarkus also predicted this before I mentioned it. Apparently due to the application of the inlay i.e. heating of the celluloid. The o in the name does have an umlaut so Möck. I'm not sure of the languages besides German that use the ö. No sanding on grinding of the original blade in the cell. The blade I hope will work in the faux tortoise is a Plumacher Wedge Razor 4/8. A tiny wedge, quite thin. I think the razors both come from mid-20th century...an uneducated guess really. Here is a link which shows the first rescaling of the Plumacher. http://straightrazorpalace.com/custo...er-reborn.html The Möck razor has a tail that makes it almost impossible to hold. The Plumacher is in every way a nice shaving razor...if you decide to walk on the petite side. Anyway, I already apologized to D for even thinking about changing out his 3 pin horn. I just wanted his blessing for my dickishness regarding the faux tortoise. I was going to send out the razor to a vendor. He being him suggested I send the two razors to him.
A little clarification on the fit: from the pivot pin to the end of the toe, the two razors are the same length. They are likewise the same width, 4/8.
Alright then, enough babbling. I don't like to wake up at 4:00 AM. But at least I have this joint to help me simulate sanity."Call me Ishmael"
