now that we are on the subject of MOP, does anyone have any good source for blanks? The only stuff I have found has been too small to do a three piece scale. I could add it to my collection of restoration stuff that I am not using up too quickly.

I was given a few links by Rob a while back since I have a big MOP project to do.
Here is one; Buy Mother of Pearl and Recon Stone Inlay Blanks | R&F
And the other is here;White Mother Of Pearl Blanks AA Grade 1.5mm Thick

Luthier suppliers carry it as well.

I know right. I have a very good supply of materials and blades. It seems that I have not had much time for doing much lately. All in good time I suppose. I have a few projects I would like to get to, and a lot of things that I usually do but have not had much time. I just barely got enough fish for the winter, and most of that was from trades.

I know how you feel, Shaun! I have plenty shavers, but NO fish for the winter!

I was finishing up puting scales I made, from a broken set from a Genco blade. On the shorty Diamond Edge..
Heard the mail man pull up, went out, and sure enough, there were two packages.
One from far up north, one from far south.

    Thank you both: !!!

    and

    Very nice Mike...
