Are you that remote Shaun? You get locked in for the winters.

Maybe let the kid do some finger nail polish designs on it, and seal them in. She does some neat stuff . [emoji6]

Locked in for the winter? No. The ferry from the mainland is scheduled for twice a week, and it usually does get here twice most weeks. Good from the mainland are really expensive. Gas for example is currently $1.78 a liter. So that is 6.73 a US gallon. Life here does get expensive, on the upside we have incredible seafood for consumption and a lot of it is easy to get. I have to say without our local harvest it would be tough to pay the price for meat as it all has to be shipped here. The ferry on a good crossing is eight hours from the mainland. It takes me from Sunday evening to Thursday morning to go to the dentist. It has it's challenges.
