You ever figure out a blade for that baleen? I keep wondering if I should put g10 backing on mine or just go without. .. it's such flexible material, but maybe mine would be too thin. Your blanks have more meat on them, if sanded down on both sides maybe no need for flattening. But I could be wrong its been a while since I saw them.

Seems I sense some frustration. You will get it together, MikeT! A man needs a place to go. Not the bar, other things.
A place to work, to create.
You will get it. I have been exactly where you are, trust me. Family first. You will get it, just don't stop moving forward.
With 4 parents in their 80's and a kid in college, I can say it does not get any easier.
Time is precious. If you deserve it, take your's."Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

MikeT, Tom nailed it! I have no kids that I know of but family first.
Didn't you mention wanting some aluminum scales a few days back? If so, I have some. I'd be happy to send ya. I have 3 sets. One is plain aluminum & the other two have some engraving work on them. I have my straight razor buddy that has the knack for doing engraving on soft metal like aluminum & I thought about getting him to personalize the plain ones I have but it was just a thought. One of the engraved sets has someones initials on them but they can be sanded out & new initials can be put in.
Tom, how's Richard coming along? I hope he's doing better.

Have not heard a thing since the collapsed lung issue. I will put some feelers out.

Thanks Tom I appreciate the good words. Though in some ways I wish to hear that its all downhill from here! Lol yeah, the frustration is there. Just got to be steady and productive. And don't ever let anybody see you bleed! Hehehe
Oh man I appreciate the offer, but I feel that to accept any more would be wrong since I've put in very minimal work lately. I'll get that workshop at my buddies house set up better this weekend, maybe put in some work. Went there today and cleaned it up, sawdust was piled high and molding, rats ate power cords to his equipment, light bulbs out, no heat. But I fixed most of that so I'm about ready to put some work in!
Gotta cut down some wood for blanks and try to be fast like Outback! I might need to abduct him and put him to work, chain him to the work bench and keep him passive and productive with Corona..“You must unlearn what you have learned.”

Pinning with brass collars ( Thanks Tom, perfectly timed...!! ) , brass pins and wedge.
Will have to post it in tomorrows,

Magnetic brush. " hangin out" [emoji6]
See y'all there....Mike
