Will do Tom. Was recharging the good camera. Those were cell phone shots.
Got some honing to do still, was hoping to shave with it last night. Nope,,

I hate when that happens. Think it wont take long to hone, two hours later and still not quite there.
Then at the finish hone.... You see a chip in the scope... aaaargh

When mine goes dead, it is always at the wrong time so I will charge it a few minutes just to finish what I was dong & then I will put it back in the charger until it is fully charged.

I remember now, I didn't get a new one because at the time I started making jerky in a smoker. I know I'm off topic but the dehydrator will work but is a slow process.
Good luck MikeT. I like outbacks lightbulb idea better. I have too used a lightbulb to dry things faster in the past but it may have not been for a straight.
I have a lot of things to do today but as soon as I can I want to start on my scales for the butchered Wosty. I really can't wait to get started on them.
Chronic back pain sucks because it slows me down but like i said, I don't give up.

Mike that is mighty generous of you! I've got some good trade.. now I know you were expecting to give it for free, but I'll not accept unless you let me give something in return. .. I've got bog oak that I want to send out to all the butchered brothers. Also some Pyinma wood. Did I already give you some of that? It's beautiful, said to be the most curly wood in the world.
So doesn't a dehydrator get warm inside? Also if not, then a heat lamp above it... seems it would be faster than any other method...?

I have the same one Mike's. Still use it and like it. A Ron Popeil classic.. just rotate your trays every few hours or the top ones dry uneven..
Yes, the element at the bottom heats up low. Hence the rotation of trays.
If you are using it for scales and such, can carve the tray vetically and fill that bad boy up!
