Thanked: 4206Mornin men. Sporting a hairless upper lip this AM and feeling the November breeze for sure!
Careful around twinkies when high, as I recall Mike, and power grinders..
I enjoyed reading the bolster and novelty scale save work going on, but have nothing to contribute.
Was working on other projects, cars, garage. and winterizing requirements around the home.
Posted the vid of the removal for Movember activity and exposure. Hopefully a few see and if not from our forum, are impressed enough at the use of old time tools to give it a go. Or at least to donate to the brave souls that do!
Used my RanTan and damn it mowed through my Mo like it was just sawdust.
Happy Movember gents!"Depression is just anger,, without the enthusiasm."

I was gonna warn you about that! Had 2 arteries blocked 95-98% and 4 stents to clean up. After the procedure the nurses would yell at me to relax and get some sleep but I had Sooo much instant energy after opening those clogged arteries!!!!
I was in my 50's and figured I was slowing down cuzz I was gettin' old?! No, it was cuzz I had no freakin blood flow to my brain and body! It was like an instant energy boost and felt I was in my teens again!
Enjoy your new lease on life and take care of yourself! Flow Docs orders, take your Meds, improve your diet ( fast food only as an occasional treat ) and go for a nice long fall walk with the wife. I'm almost 10 years on and just had a stress test ( which sucks!! They push you hard ) and the staff was impressed with my stamina at 62 yo! Hang in there bro, this could be a new phase in life!

I was thinking about participating but have had a stash since my late teens!!!
Shaved it off once in my 30's and scared my kids ( didn't know who I was, they were little ) and got carded for beer for the first time in years!
I'll have to check out the vid. Liked your vid of shaving off a week or more beard in about 3 minutes! That was a cool vid!

Thanked: 4206LOL,same reaction here. My wife met and fell in love with a man with a Selleck-esk type upper lip, she was quick to remind me. Had it my entire adult life until last Movember. Butchered that shave and felt/looked completely 'not me' for a month or so.
But it's for a good cause, fun to remind the wife I could look worse, hehe, and it seemed, the 'stache grew back in less 'frosty' when it did. So all things considered, I did it again this year. Without lacerations this time I might add!
It's cool you remember the Shumate vid as well, Thanks. That was that blades first shave ever and it rocked the whiskers. One of my fav's still!
