Here are the parts. The treaded rod will go through the handle for strength. The SS srew got cut into a pommel/but-cap.

A little practice to see if I was going to like my plans for the handle.

    The handle shaped and textured.

All the pieces rough shaped and sitting in place (not glued yet)
Great job on the handle and love the texturing.

MAN, Yote that looks nice! Did you do all the divots with that wood screw? Great job!

Off-topic, but as-promised, I just spent an hour on my Novelty cleaning it up. I have seen these scales shrink, but these seem to be swollen a bit. The pins are all down in the cell a bit. A bugger to get in there and shine the little ones up and remove the green stuff. The brass liners were caked with it, razor blade scraping and scotchbrite between the scales.
I dunno about the logos. I see Freemasons, Perhaps Eagles, Knights of Columbus? What's the top one?
Ladies on the back. Possibly famous singers, actresses of the time?

The wood screw is stainless steel and I used it for the end cap. I am away from home in an internship so I am having to get a little creative with some of my approaches. I cut the divots with a tungsten carbide rotary file in the dremel.

I dig the simple way of being creative with what you have on-hand. Makes it more special as the outcome is superb.

Excellent work yotebuster1200!!!! You're definitely in! Awesome work & it gives me ideas. I think that's the best GD I have ever seen.
I would love to do that to the Barber-sori but I am going to continue as planned.
