Hey Bill, I found a Felt Pad razor identical to mine but no coffin. Just thought I'd let ya know. I don't know if you were interested.

Think youve had to much already Bill. You need to get out of the gutter, come sit on the curb with the rest of us.

It's not a bevel as I can feel it with my fingernail! Tried scratching it with a razor blade and did nothing! So I took some 600 grit to it and this is what I got so far. You can kind of see the bevel in the light. The metal underneath is kinda strange too. Weird looking and pitted really oddly.

It was a freebe someone found so I can play with it to see what happens.

Looks like devil spit to me.
Never seen it on just the bevel,
Unless someone cleaned cleaned the face (sanded) and not the bevel

Clauss also made 'double concave' razors such as those of George Korn Patent, Cattaraugus, Robison. I have one.
    I expect this is one?

Thanks for the offer Steve. I have just the right amount of razors, a gentleman's set so to speak, although I don't pretend to be a gentleman. Feels kind of weird to have enough, but that will never stop me from looking.

Oops sorry I meant to include that. Flame box elder burl, ebony, buckeye burl, and box elder burl. They are not stabilized, so I normally just apply a coat of thin CA to each side and let it dry. That makes it strong enough to sand and shape without breaking.
