If you work any slower you will wind up with production near mine. You might go crazy at three razors a year though.
It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

I hear you, Rez! I certainly don't need another job to hate!
I only mess with razors if it is fun. If it ain't no fun....I QUIT!
That, and I am somewhat lazy.

If I didn't have a job and an extensive honey do list I might get more fun stuff done. Right now it is just what little I can sneak in here and there. I hope to get my production up by the fall. I have two armoires to build for my wife and I promised to help my extra kid with her bathroom. She is a great person and works hard, and so does her husband, so I will pitch in. Between that and work I think we are looking at mid fishing season, so razors and rocks will come after that. Then I think I am in the clear for a bit.

Smells like burnt hair while working it so use ventilation/respirator. No finish required is kind of nice too, but I usually hit it with some finishing wax just to shine it up some.
    Cheers.
So could I finish it with 30k sand paper and then bees wax?
    Thanks

I ask because its nearly 5mm thick, so that's a lot of hand sanding.

I get lazy when my back is killing me. Then I watch movies on the tube or listen to music.

Brad Maggard is a great guy! He has never let me down. They were out of some samples but that's how it goes!

30k or 3k? My final sandpaper is 3k, then I polish with Maas or Mothers. If I can get some finer sandpaper, I will do that but 3k has worked well so far.

I have named it 'Daffy'. A fitting name, I think.
