Got them straight but one side shrank, its not melted.
May still be able to reshape and use, but if not, I'll try making new one's from yellow heart wood, remove the bolsters and fit them to the new scales, wich I figure will take some time being I've never done it , but watched a few vids on it.
Shouldn't there be an "unlike" button?

What I meant was that I didn't like the fact that the scales warped/shrank, so instead clicking the "like" button, there should be an "unlike" button.

Some progress.. this is more or less the final shape. I refined it just a tiny bit after this photo.

The problem is, it does not want to take a proper edge. Guess how many layers of tape I tried, before I gave up? Hint: You will need both hands. [emoji1] [emoji12] [emoji16]

Looks clean. Edge shape is nice. Sometimes, you just have to let them be what they are.
Personally, anything over 3 layers is too much. Set the bevel with 4 layers, remove a layer and hone it.
Short of regrinding it, that's what it is. JMO

What you gonna do? Would do no good to put more than 3 layers on him, either!
