The Lindsay is a 6/8 chopper, for a full hollow. It's a pittsburgh PA razor.

Hay guys. I haven't been on that much but thought I'd check in with my brothers of the blade! I need to put an SOTD up with my anvil. This bug is kickin' my ass but I think maybe.................just maybe, making a little progress. Don't wanna brag or I'll jinx myself. I've had this bug before but not often & it is a long winded bug!
I went to a brothers new house yesterday since he is doing very well off now, better than he was. His dad used to be president of Oxo Petroleum & also CEO of Permian Oil at the same time so he was making the big bucks back in the day! He had 5 personal company jets to fly all over the world. My brother is one I have mentioned that I have won things for him on eBay because he doesn't trust giving his account information out over the internet so he does not have a Paypal account. Oh well, that's all irrelevant to our work here.
I just missed out on 3 blades that were on the bay & one of them was one outback needs & it went cheap........$12.50 for all 3 blades! My internet is going very slow for some reason. I just reset my modem so I don't know yet. The cable company might be having issues. I also saw a Dorko blade but it had a crack in it & would be much less wider when done plus it went for $33 & it wasn't as nice as B52's Dorko. I wouldn't pay that much for a blade that was cracked anyway!
I'm very proud of my anvil! I just polished it with some Mother's to keep 'er lookin' good as she is!!! I'll post a SOTD in just a few minutes. Thanks again outback! Guess I'll get on the SOTD.

    Thanks Mike.
Its gotta come apart, all the bolsters have come unglued. And the pivot pinn has been tightened so much the collar is gone on one side.
This will be the first bolster redue for me.
Kinda excited!! Done some reads on it, but never had to do it. Shouldn't be too bad, being I'm reusing the same scales.

BUT!!!.... I may, (you all tell me if I should leave um alone, to stay origanal) shorten the scales.

There is almost 3/8" clearance between toe and wedge, not counting swinging distance of the blade opening and closing.

"DAMMIT"...!! That boy gonna be late for his own kids birth. Mark my words. [emoji1]

He's probably still playing with the lighting and can't get the right angle. [emoji23] [emoji23]

Ha, ha...............outback Mike, he's probably busy doing something but I at least got off my sick rear & posted my SOTD. I have a few things I need to do but I got that outta the way. Just funnin' with ya MikeT, we know YOU will put your SOTD up! Even if the SWMBO has ya doing honeydo's, you can still find a few moments to post. Thanks for the baleen! I need to flatten them out & use them on a special blade. I think I already know what to use. Jamie sent me 3 Sheffield blades awhile back for helping him out on our duck hunting trip so it will be a Gifted Razor when done!
