    This adds a whole new meaning to 'grind-happy' . I call it a 'grind-o-rama!'

    And (of course) Stuff.

Can't wait, thats gonna be a trip to see.!! Is it going to be a folder?
No outback, I am not going to blame you. I was speaking to someone on the phone today & they said there is a stomach bug going around. I sure as hell didn't get it from the anvil!

Well..... My train has finally stopped, thank god it's right next to the razzer wagon.

Think I'll climb aboard, once I get myself and the shop dusted off in day or two.

Whew!! I'm wiped out, and off to count razzers.

    G nite fellas

Gorgeous work on that finish Mike. Can't thank you enough for the anvil. Meant a lot to use it on this WB.
Which I'm happy to say pinned up WITHOUT breaking the amber wedge!
The feedback from this railway tie is so much more solid than the piece of U channel I've been using as an anvil from the onset of this pursuit of steel.

Only thing I added was my small 1/16 rod holding hole, tip learned from Glen's video's, at the cross of the T, seen in the reflection above barely. Held the brass rod just right to allow the peening to commence. Carefully flipped, peened, flipped back again and so on until the scales came together.Name: IMG_1020.jpg

I believe the metal spacer was key and both blame and thank Tom and Mike for the various mojo and ideas tossed about.
Thank Mike T for the amber, and the idea to try it in the first place.
Scales ended up 3/32" thick each and the wedge ended up as thin as I could make it without risking another crack on me, about 5/32 tapering to 3/32 on the end. I tried to put some little finger detents in this set, never seen em before so I though WTF.
Pretty happy with how this honed up as well. Only spike point WB I own.
    Test shave tomorrow!
