Thanked: 4827That Barber is going to be a tough row to hoe Steve. I can't wait to see a progress report.
All I have to report is I made 2 sets of bone scales. I broke them both on pinning.
I won't blame you for that though Outback, that was all me. Hit the pin not the scales. When the pin gets tight stop. Makes sure you drill the pin hole with room for expansion of the pin. Bone is not as tough as G-10.
I have been using the remnants for carving practice. It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

Use the remnants for pinning practice, Mike. The hardest part of pinning razors is sizing the pin.
If you are whacking it too hard.......You got the pin too long.
Stop
Drill it out
Begin anew
I learned long ago to make my pivot pin on the short side. As things settle in, too much pin!"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

Now hold on a second buddy!
Whacked out? Ill have you know that aside from being a terribly ugly fix... that there Sears FBU would have shaved as well if not better than most given its superior reach.. and stuff.
And further more it has the benefit of being made by W&B without having to bare a ridiculously common name! So hah!
