Damn, I'm laughing so hard it hurts!!!
First a few posts back Bill says "...wait, I am the little people" & then I see that thing near his hammer & I wonder if that is his man cave?
Then he says his sausage is sputtering.....................

I had to put the scales down for now....................sputtering

    Ahem,..
and here's a pair of Feon, or Fon, razors that may qualify as butchered.
Seems the one is a shorty, but not sure if by design or by circumstance. Note the full size scale it's in.
End work looks very nicely finished if it is a post build repair.

My plan, take them both apart and maybe put the full size in the three pinned scales and make a custom set for the shorty.
    Not sure yet.
Neat japanese symbols and serial stamp on the one I'm curious about. May try to darken the kanji script and get some help there as well.
May be military or penal system issued.

Definitely one of a kind....................I hope! I hope there aren't some offspring runnin' around & if so, I hope that aren't like him.

Found my scales right here next to my Macbook after looking so long for 'em but they were camouflaged with my coffee table so well..............
I did get some done to 'em until my back started killing me worse.

    Right on man.
Any details about how you did the inlay? ... I've got to do some soon and was just thinking tonight about how to.. just going over the process in my mind.

Thats how I pretty much did the inlay. Then I coated over the inlay, and used a #2 pencil with a small strip of sandpaper taped to it (eraser end) and sanded it smooth.
    Then polished the CA.

Thats how I fixed the cracks in these scales as well. Tape it off, fill, sand and polish.

I used the thin slow cure for wood on the inlay, so I had time to move it around and get centered. Then pushed it down with a SE razor blade. A quick shot of accelerator, and two more coats to cover inlay.

Im happy with the result, for my first attempt [emoji6]

Okay cool, I like that technique. Pencil erasers, great idea too. I think I'll go to the dollar store and try out an array of different shapes and sizes of erasers.
Hey those are some cool scales! What if I got some of those scissors that cut a pattern because the two blades are wavy or zig-zagged and as they cut they make that wavy or zig-zagged cut... might be cool for some scales, try to replicate the look of those scales in your pics..
Ever seen those scissors? Crafting scissors of some sort.
    Anyway, thanks for the info.
