Well, I tried some 3k first & nothing so then 2.5k, still nothing so 2k took a little bit off I think but it is going to end up ruining the etch so if anything, I can just sand 'em down until clean & by then the etch will be gone but what the heck, I still got some more Ivory!

I'd try to whiten with a soak before losing the etching Steve, IMO. The etching is worth saving more than going bleached white again.
    But that's just me..

I'll be back more into it once I go to the doctor for my back pain. I'm not gonna give up! That's for sure. My primary care physician referred me to a pain specialist whom he said would help me out because he also has back pain & knows just how it is. I get that taken care of, I'll be rockin' & rollin'.

I'll try that B52 but I did notice what looked like just a slight part of it looks like it might be worn away & I didn't do it with what little I tried. I didn't wanna do too much or I would lose it for sure. I'll think on it for now. Tom got lucky with his.

    No complaints with the nanis...
Their awsome, and have really changed my game from what I had been using alot. Honed with one stone for many years, unknown make and grit. And a whole lot of stropping to get it just right. That was from a 2" belt that I grew out of.

Welllllll, it's about time I kicked down the door of the vocational wing over here and post one of my projects.
This is something that has dogged me for years. You see, I have this loupe and from the closed position you can't tell which side is right ways up. And there is a right ways up. So I got to thinking about sticking stuff on stuff like ya'll do over here and...here 'tis

I want to thank SWMBO for her anonymous donation of clear nail polish.
PM me if any of you need any tips on the process.
I hope this convinces outback Mike that I am not a slacker.
