Damn, I still miss some jokes.
Still unpacking things from my ex-home in Sao Paulo, and found a good chunk of amber. Must render some wedges if necessary.
Still working on the Rodgers. Started to clean the blade. Lots of good steel, but there are some pitting I would't dare to excavate for.Last edited by Matheus; 10-21-2015 at 04:12 AM.

Thanked: 4206Very nice piece of amber Matheus! many wedges in that nugget!
The vid with the red eye is an old sci fi movie, around the time of the jetson's, the other, well classic commercial up here..
I've been to Sao Paulo, and Rio, 25 years ago this month actually!! Love your country.."Depression is just anger,, without the enthusiasm."

Oh now I know what you're talking about... Jetson scales..
Well I saw something completely different, more steam punk if i were to classify. ..
BUT.. given the high tech design, precision crafting... Lol I can see where you are going with Jetson scales.
Better watch out or the scales I make for your Henckels will be even MORE ridiculous!
If anyone is wondering, the blade is a Greaves & Sons, red coolibah burl laminated to African Blackwood, copper bolsters, 2 spacers, and 4 pins.. not your cup of tea if you are strictly a traditionalist... it's in my gallery.“You must unlearn what you have learned.”

Oh! I know the movie, Mike! Great movie! 2001: a space odissey was it's title in portuguese. Just didn't understood the context when I read first time. Language is still a barrier sometimes.

Thanked: 4206[QUOTE=WW243;1556252]Not sure if it's a 1/2 hollow, or 1/4 hollow. It's heavier than some regular size full hollows, definitely a cool grind. Here is a SOTD from awhile back...good look at the grind.

Ahh it's a lil thicker than mine. Explains the silent running..
Thanks for the good end shot!
