I know Mike, just a corny joke! I've been gone most of the day getting a free sofa which I needed since my old one had a couple of burn holes in it from when I smoked cigarettes. It is also much more comfortable now too.
I cut my cocobolo & now to make it flat again because it had a slight twist to it, I was using a DMT & it is working really good. That will be the blade side so that when I put my carpet tape on 'em to hold 'em together, they'll be nicely flat & stuck together. Then I'll be able to shape 'em & then proceed to make my wedge once I know the shape. The way I picture her, she should be really attractive!

Scale jerky! Lol
Well if there's not enough heat, I've got some heating wire i could put there, or the lamp. I'll figure something out.
Originally I had thought of the idea when waiting for pure tung oil to dry, it takes days on end.
Tough night tonight, had to go bail my brother out of jail, DUI, visiting for thanksgiving. Ugh! Alcoholic. Emotional issues. I try to understand.
Don't drink and drive guys! Uh let me see here, oh yes, "be cool, stay in school".. dang it I know I'm forgetting something... oh yes, "don't make your brother bail you out of jail, and something that rhymes with that!"
Cheers gents!

That sucks MikeT.
That's all you needed was to go bail your brother out of jail! Everyone says they only had two drinks. They don't count the ones in between!

Bummer, MikeT. I hope it does not ruin Thanksgiving. Perhaps it is a blessing he is amongst family as it goes down?
A good kick in the ass by the whole family is as good as it gets!
OH! Richard (Geezer) has actually posted on the Mentor's forum. I am certain he has a backlog and must attend rehab.
Still, seems to be going at it!Last edited by sharptonn; 11-25-2015 at 02:42 AM.

Thanked: 4827Well I have had my fair share of substance abuse issues. To say an alcoholic has emotional issues is kind of funny from my perspective, because we all do to start with! I come from a family raging with substance abuse issues, so I also know the burden of dealing with others issues too. PM me if you want to have a long talk about it.

Mike -- good brother you are! Lucky he wasn't hurt, and hope he learns his lesson. I've been around AA folks and heard some stories that made me almost cry. Hope this is his bottom and Thanksgiving goes well.

Yeah, I had to go to court 3 weeks ago as a witness in the accident I was in last December but I never had to go into the courtroom. The D A kept coming back there to the conference room where there were several of us witnesses there for different cases & he told me he didn't like people who caused motorcycle accidents, especially when they are under the influence. He also told me it was only a stupid young guy & I said yeah, he was 23 at the time. It sounds like he hasn't learned his lesson & I'm lucky to be alive. I think he will do it again & I hope he doesn't kill someone.
Okay, back to work...............
