Thanked: 4827You should take some old damaged blades and experiment. You can likely do it with just the blue, that actually turns out more of grays than blues once it is dark and aged a little. You did that bt wrapping it up in a paper towel and wetting it with bluing after the vinegar correct?

Props on all the magic you guys have been putting into these blades.
My problem with razors is really bad.
Terrible, heinous even. Sacreligious to say the least.
I can't find a blade with a broken toe. All I want is to fix up a blade to a dang short. I wanna be part o' the short-stack-club. BUT, Nope, nada, zilch in the antiques stores. My ebay auctions? Sniped. Every. Single. Time.
