Frown is gone, a subtle smile invoked, and bevel regained with two layers of tape.

That thing is awsome. But I got to give credit to the 220 and 400 Nanis... They are the work horses for serious metal removal , real quick!!

But as for a bevel setter...Ha! Hands down on the chosera!!

Did I mention... Its not a good idea to unpinn your scales, outside in sub-zero temps, ok its 5 degrees outside. Things become a bit brittle.... oops!!

Guess I'll use the broken honey horn scales. I've been saving them for just an occasion. [emoji57]

After some discussions on here, and help from Tom, again!,, and a truly appreciated shipment of ivory and metal bits, the rebuild moved along with no real hiccups. The tea stain really helped shade the bone to match the ivory, and I hoped the gold plating would help the blade flow into the brass mid tang spine visually. The collarless pins and brass wedge turned out totally to my satisfaction as well.
I couldn't afford a missed swing on this peen job.
The ivory makers mark etch, resulting from a 500mw laser etching machine, completes the look and overall, the razor turned out as well as it looked in my mind when I started to plan this one out so many months back.

Thanks for looking, hope you enjoy the results.
Totally a breathtaking, gorgeous piece B52. I love the way you put the makers name on the Ivory!!!!!! Rocking' job Brother in Blades...........

Hat's off on that restore, Mike!
I am super-impressed with it all, from the tang construction, to the laser etch, on to the scales and pins.

    You should be proud!

Means a lot from gents such as yourself Tom.
Couldn't have done it without your ivory scale bits.
    Thanks for the help.
