    Default Lizard Skin Scales

@voidmonster, i got home today and had this in the mail. Bought it for the scales. These would be fun to duplicate.

Looks like I've got my work cut out for me.

Seriously though, I've got one half the the Otto Von Deutsch scales (but no razor to go in them -- sometimes I buy up huge lots of scale parts for precisely this reason), and that was one of the ones I was thinking about

The set I poured this morning is gonna work. Though I botched two pair by being impatient. No problem. I wasn’t fully happy with the color match, so I made two more pair.

In the process of all this... I ended up with excess resin. And now I have a free standing urine sample paper weight.

Perfect gift for any medical professional.

I'm thinking this might make for a very good prank...

    Oh yeaaah!

    This is looking good, now!

They still need more time to cure, but it’s pretty obvious these are going to work. It’ll just be a question of flex/brittleness at full cure.

Originals in the middle, third batch is next and the ones on the outside are fourth batch with a different dye mix.

I should be able to either sand or fill in the scratches around the pin holes. I never got any wax to make a fully clean mold... maaaaybe I should. But I don’t see myself making a whole lot of these scales. As far as I know, I only need three pair. One for Joshua, one for Tom and one for me.
