I asked the seller if the razor had been modified or if it where the rare extended tang model. He said that as far as he could tell it was all original and had not been modified. lol.
To me, that just indicates that he is a reseller. It is "as found condition".

I agree but at the very least these people google whatever they find. One seller told me that he is blind even with glasses on. Maybe its time for them to find another hobby.

    Sigh!

Have't the heart to tell the seller that Gramps left it on the radiator just a BIT too long!

How in the is that even a razor!?!?!? And how do they know how old/where it is from??

They better have an Adamantium clad certificate, stating irrefutable proof that it is what he claims it to be...

I could see that being an old razor shaped like the wolf that allegedly raised Remus and Romulus, or a lion, with the base sharpened to shave the face...could be, never know? Wasn't it the Roman who first insisted their Legions be clean shaven to prevent their beards being grabbed in hand to hand combat...ya never know, but a relic like that for a $150.00??? No way I'd think....

Crawler, that's what I was thinking!!!

Phrank, no way would i throw $150 away on some wacky looking thing like that & if someone did have something like that, people would probably laugh at it in their man cave. or shave den.

Maybe it was to make patterns in facial hair?!? Or each "edge" had a purpose...tail for nostril hair, etc.
