They have high prices for everything they have for sale. The first time I saw that set & what they did to such a nice old vintage box, it just made me sick............
Yeah, it is a bit rubbish looking.

Yes, I agree. I found it & I was going to take a pic of it but now they have copyrights on their pic now. It's better I don't put them up & waste server space & such. It's on the auction block now...................

Shave Ready 7 Day Set Cattaraugus Green Lizard Vintage Straight Razor Hone USA | eBay

The box was made/modified to hold 9 razors which is the reason for the other two. I brought it up on the eBay section on here around a year or so ago & they still have it because it will never sell for that price or..........................they're waiting for the sucker who doesn't know much about straights yet but he's got some money burning a hole in his pocket. Those people must be gamblers or something, putting such high prices on something as if one of so many will bite it!
That can still be a nice razor box if they would take that ugly lizard off it & restore the box to an antique finish.

I can see a nick in it!

Yea, if they couldn't see that nick towards the heel, they need to invest in two things: better lighting, and better vision!

Well, the condition really is a shame! But at least the seller didn't try to pull a fast one; saying they don't really touch the razors in any way, & it's in "as found condition".

Is it me, or does it look like that blade has a serious case of "ringworm"?!? I remember my days in junior wrestling (5th grade), still got a circular scar on my chest from ringworm (cousin of athletes foot, IIRC). Does that razor need some calamine lotion?

Try looking at the vendor's store. It is usually under the vendor's name. That will give you an idea of whether the person is unaware or just a plain shyster.

Is it me or does it look like that razor has very little honewear. Makes me wonder how it got in that shape.
