Stair recovering was the project today. I didn't get a full before but you can see the carpet on the top landing/Hall, it is what was on the stairs. Now I have stripped them and covered them with Cap-a-tread. I had to make my own trim boards for the sides, then while I was at it made my own risers and other trim boards to finish it off. Got it all painted up so it's finished. Tomorrow I might start on the upstairs hall and bathroom. Maybe.
It's just Sharpening, right?

Had to yank your chain a little Jerry but that really does look much nicer. I never cared for carpeted stairs as much as wood top ones.

Your good bro. It takes a lot more than that to bother this ol' City Boy.
I got the mirrow finished. I went with the old vintage look on the frame. Sanded it down, slapped a little black paint in areas, rubbed it around, put some stain on it then 2 coats of clear to finish it off. Just got it hung on the wall.

Make hats and gloves out of the fur….the Castor glands are 100.00 per pound ( takes 5 beaver to make a pound of castor) …The meat is put in the crock pot….. the skulls are cleaned and sold…the tails are tanned and use to make wallets. The rest of the pelts are shipped to Canada for the wild fur auction….where China and Russia are big buyers of our North American fur.
