You're so right. I have been telling my wife every bit of this since the very first report of the virus. A few folks labeled me a tinfoil hatter, but most who know me well took it seriously. Now my conspiracy theories have turned out not to be so crazy after all. And my anger level with the political evil-doers has reached never-before-seen heights.

There has been no proof presented and I mean scientific proof that this thing came from a lab. There never will be because the Chinese will never cooperate either way.
But you guys just keep at it while the virus continues to have a field day with those who refuse that terrible vaccine. No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

Obviously Dr Fauci is in the US, but I listen to him anyway and understand that his advice is going to change as more is learned and understood about Covid-19.
We have Dr. Theresa Tam in Canada and her advice changes too as she learns more.
I'm personally not interested where the virus originated, it could be mice on Timbuktu releasing a disease secretly to rid themselves of humans for all i care.
I just don't want to get it, I have had both my shots now so if I do get it i doubt if it will be a huge big deal for me.
I will watch with interest what becomes of the people that don't want the shots.
I do fully understand the mistrust about the vaccines, I really really didn't want to do it either but what can I say. I was pressured into it and I'm a wimp.
From what I see on CNN, most of the folks in the US that haven't had their shots are Republicans, I don't know if that's true because I can't honestly see why political beliefs would make a difference but if it is true, I would be surprised.
Trump threw a fortune at getting the vaccines developed in record time and Trump had his shots so it strikes me that the Trump supporters should be at the front of the queue with their sleeves rolled up to get the stuff that their guy is responsible for rolling out so quickly.
JMHO no disrespect intended to anyone whatever there convictions or political beliefs. I do my voting in the Great White North.Last edited by STF; 07-07-2021 at 06:32 PM.

Thanked: 3222At this point in the pandemic there is little doubt as to the effectiveness of the vaccines. In areas where an increasingly large number of people have had at either one dose or two doses the infection rates have vastly decreased. In these areas of high immunisation rates hospital ICUs are not full to overflowing with Covid 19 patients. There are very few Covid 19 patients in the ICUs and consequently very few deaths. Those Covid 19 patients that are in the ICUs are non vaccinated people. Those people who are vaccinated with one or two doses that do get infected, in the majority of cases, do not get sick enough to require hospitalization.
Personally, my own blunt opinion is that people who do not get vaccinated have two clues. One of which is lost and the other is out looking for it.

So what are the stats of those that have had the Covid, and survived. ( like myself ).
Does it make sense to get a vaccine for something that you've built an immunity to, naturally.
That's why I won't accept the shots.!Mike

Yes, everything I've heard indicates that even those that have already had Covid should get vaccinated.
Nobody knows how long natural antibodies will last or if they are protection from the delta virus.
I think you should get the shot Mike because i like you and it would be a real shame if you conked out due to a strain you thought you had protection from.- - Steve

Thanked: 3222Here are some ideas why you might want to get vaccinated even if you have had Covid 19 and recovered.

I have encountered 2 patients that were reinfected, I think it was June 2020 and then December for the one, the other one I dont remember the dates. Both actually had a worse course during the second round.
When people ask me I tell them what I told my mother who had covid this spring. Yes, get the vaccine, I am a fan of the mRNA ones. She had no reaction to the Pfizer vaccine after her 1st dose. Second one is pending.

Thanked: 13226You are going to be hard pressed to find real stats Mike
You have to understand that anything that is even remotely questioning of the Vax is actively being suppressed which is why so many people are literally brainwashed about it.. They have never even seen anything but pro vax media...
IIRC there is a new study from the University of Iowa out but you have to use DDG to find this stuff not Google
Good Luck on your searches..."No amount of money spent on a Stone can ever replace the value of the time it takes learning to use it properly"
