Thanks for digging up this thread, Bill - very interesting. I'm a vet working with both pets and farm animals.

I own a hobby shop, radio controlled toys etc. I was in advertising for 12 years until I took over the family business (31 years old this spring) about 13 years ago, I should have made this move before my hair fell out.

And you occasionally crossdress to look like your avatar? And what's PSA? I only know Prostate Specific Antigen.

I'm part owner of two dial up ISP's.
I'm definately not the techie of the
    company.
My primary duties include - picking up
the mail at the PO. Paying the bills, running
payroll ( this goes a long way in helping us
keep employees) and running to the bank.

When the need arises I also post
    customer payments and run customer
    invoices.

Over the past month, one of the partners
and I have been involved in a Post Card
    advertising campaign. We have delivered
18,900 post cards to 45 post offices in the
southern part of the state. We still have a
long way to go in this little venture. But it's
fun just hitting the road and seeing the state.

I came up through the skilled trades as a journeyman and foreman (welder, machinist, pipefitter) in large fabrication shops, shipbuilding, and heavy construction. That eventually landed me in power plant maintenance 20 years ago and since then I've worked in most of the power plant management roles up to and including general manager.

Nowadays I'm making my living as a project director for some environmental compliance programs at large coal fired power plants.

I'm a lecturer at an Australian university. I do research into theoretical statistics and probability and dabble a bit in mathematics. I also teach undergrad and postgrad statistics.

I'm finishing my degree in Education and German Studies, as well as doing my student-teaching this year. Hopefully by the time this thread gets resurrected again I'll have a job :-/

I am the other variety of Aircrewman in the Navy: the DRY crewman. Which means that I don't jump out of helocopters. I run search sensors in the back of a patrol airplane and search for and track submarines.
