I'm currently unemployed other than servicing the occasional computer to stretch the money I saved up a bit farther. My most recent job was running a crew of enumerators for the 2006 census in an area that went REALLY bad.

I've been an IT-jack-of-all-trades for about 7-8 years, then I got tired of firms firing/going under/job stress and got a job as a train manager for our belgian railroads and it's been great fun, mostly due to the fact that it places me outside as well as in heavy interaction with other people.

Thanked: 0I have a photography business in San Diego. My staff of photographers take portraits of over 400,000 students each year. I also photograph sports, special events, senior portraits (high school), and publish yearbooks. I have about 120 photographers, salespeople, customer service, and support staff that work for me. I started my business when I was 24 and here we are 25 years later.

I've done lots of things - most recently a police officer for 10 years before a medical discharge this year (herniated disks in my lower back)
Now I am a secretary for my wifes buisness - conveyancing.
It's good to sleep with the boss and not get into trouble

my job
my job takes me to the cold reaches of the north sea, I have worked in the southern sector of the North sea off of the coast of south east england and all the way up inside the arctic circle off of Norway, this does not mean IM well travelled. I spend anything to 3 weeks on a steel island called an oilrig, on the drill floor, which has its moments I can tell you. I am a roughneck and at present serving my notice so to be ready to move to the USA with my wife and son, back to NC.
Before that I served for 2 years as a HSE advisor and a roughneck on one other semi-submersible drilling rig for the company I am with now, prior to that I worked for an american company as a roughneck on a Jack-up.
My working career started as an electrician to which Im fully time served and looking to head into again...
4 weeks off 2 weeks on and a lot of time with my son now..
cheers,simon
I love razors,pc's and used to play scots music on my fiddle...
