Thanked: 431Don't be so intolerant X.
Man!?!?
Sometimes you seem so narrow-minded that a fly could sit on your nose and kick you in both eyes at the same time.

I believe it was Oscar Wilde who observed tolerance does not extend to tolerating intolerance.
Slavery, bonded servitude, serfdom or whichever way you want to equivocate it, is wrong. An all knowing, all loving god would communice this to its creation.
Capital punishment is an ineffective deterrent, therefore simply vengeance and barbaric, particularly stoning. Starvation is also effective and barbaric for its suffering as well. Leaving aside that capital punishment in a modern society is madness in action, even in ancient times, beheading would have been a compassionate directive.
Homosexuality is certainly not 'filthy' or anything similar. As sexual conduct between consenting adults it is as all other such acts, perfectly normal, displayed throughout the animal kingdom regularly in virtually every genus. Yes being gay is just another way of being normal as evidenced by nature.

In the context of the OP's original intent of this thread, it's humorously ironic to me that Oscar Wilde was received into the Roman Catholic Church willingly and at his request on his deathbed. We can assume then, that he would have answered the original question in the affirmative as I did.

Thanked: 431According to Wilde? So what. He was just a wild story teller.
According to you? Fortunately the Lord is a bit smarter than you are, believe it or not.
Capital punishment is an absolute and excellent deterrent, especially to those who recieve it. If you lived where it was practiced then maybe you would notice.
Normal? Have any biology professor explain how they reproduce. It isn't normal or displayed in any animal kingdom, is all you have is some dumb animals that don't know what they are doing other than trying to satisfy some animalistic urge, and only because they can't find the right partner to satisfy it with.

But still, some of us are closer to the fence than others!
So I voted "yes, definitely" because it's closer to my opinion than "no way."

Let your god out of this. We are men discussing you and I. Please explain to me how slavery is a good thing.
You are mistaken. Capital Punishment - world, body, life, history, person, human, The Purposes and Effectiveness of Capital Punishment, International Trends, U.S. Trends
The results of the more than 200 studies done on capital punishment are either inconclusive or adverse to the claim that it is an effective deterrent to murder. The typical research design compares murder rates in state that have and use the death penalty with (1) those that either have not used it, although the law permits its use and (2) states that have abolished it. In general, these studies tend to show no difference in homicide rates for comparable states that with and without capital punishment. Nor is there evidence that homicide rates decline or increase as states decide to reinstate or abolish the death penalty.

Thanked: 259GOD is in any good mans life at all times....
if your description of homosexual animals were in fact as "pervasive" as you say, the animal kingdom would surely be smaller, as will mankind will be when homosexual behavior becomes prevalent.."just the facts, ma'am" homosexuals cannot reproduce and that my friend is "a damn good thing, or we would become extinct"
