Sorry Nun, I thought I was. I train often with 22 and .17 HMR rimfire for that reason. cheaper to use and shooting is a muscle memory act. Therefore I "need" to buy lots of ammo.

Given that it's been months now and the rimfire ammo shortage, from what I can tell has not changed one iota, it may be nice to use this site to report when, in our respective areas we're able to buy more rimfire ammo? I would think just as we're all reporting the apparent universal lack of rimfire ammo, I would assume at some point we should be able to start reporting more supply?

This extended ammo shortage has really got me thinking that a gun no matter how nice, expensive, well made, etc it may be is really worth very little if you can't feed it ammo. If you have no ammo for a gun than it ends up being a nice looking paperweight or slightly more impressive than a rock should one find the need to throw something in order to defend oneself.

I guess a person could sell their firearm to someone with ammo...

I'm finding small amounts of overpriced rimfire ammo lately. Box of CCI Stingers (50) $15.99! Brick of 525 loose pack plinking ammo, $40.00. Now, the one that made my jaw drop, box of 25 auto (50 ct) $50.00! I mean, really, 50 bucks for a box of 25 auto?

If Stingers are going for that much... I might have a few boxes to sell...

How and when will you be able to replace it? If you can.
I think if people would just relax and let the manufacturers catch up, the supply channels would fill up again, the demand is killing the supply. I have heard twice that a brick of .22 was upwards of 100$ at the last gun show. Please dont feed these trolls.

It's a catch 22, I don't like trolls but you can't shoot them without ammo!

Chris, grab the end of the barrel with both hands with the stock up and you've got an expensive club ...... better than a paperweight .......

I personally think the panic buying has a lot to do with it, buying everything off the shelves & stuff. I'd hate to be the one paying off those CC bills, but again, the credit card companies are loving all this I'm sure...
