Actually most of the 9mm and .223 are being snapped up as soon as it is on the shelves. I am starting to see some rimfire and 45 out there but the prices are incredible...
I still remember walking in the hardware store at 10 years old and buying 22LR and 410 shotgun with no call to the local PD acting like I was a terrorist.
Don't kid yourself into thinking it will get better soon though. With the government buying millions of rounds right now it will not return to normal for at least a year. And that depends on what happens with all the drama from gun grabbers and protectionists..

I sent my son to the local farm store yesterday... Not ONE rimfire to be had... They get orders on Tuesday and Thursday...
Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated...

Not really sure if an ammo company plug is out of order here but I spoke with a guy a while back and he suggested I try Good To Go Ammo out of Texas. It's a small business and I actually liked shooting their product at the range. They're still accepting orders but it's slightly delayed. I can't seem to find anywhere else taking orders or that has any in stock.
(aside from the touristy shooting ranges in LV that are charging premium prices for mediocre rounds)
